DESCRIPTION:Central Learns is excited to offer a space for K-12 academic tutoring\, skill reinforcement\, enrichment\, homework help\, accelerated learning opportunities\, and much more. Staffed by a group of background checked volunteers with diverse backgrounds and experiences – many of whom are former educators\, Central Learns is a place where every student can be heard\, met\, and encouraged on their academic journey. \nStudents are welcome to bring any homework that they need assistance with\, and we will also have supplementary activities and support available. If your homework requires a Chromebook to complete\, please bring that as well. \nFollowing the school calendar\, Central Learns will meet each Wednesday from 3 PM to 5 PM. Students are welcome to come for the whole time\, or to come for any segment of time they are able or need each week. Around 4PM\, we will break for a snack (please bring your own) and an accelerated learning opportunity. This could look like any number of S.T.E.A.M activities\, virtual field trips\, coding\, etc. \nWe want to create a fun and safe learning environment. All students need to be registered via this form before they are able to be dropped off at Central Learns. While it is much easier for us if you register them ahead of time\, we also will have a computer available for you to register them when you arrive. All students need to be signed in and\, unless otherwise noted on the registration form\, also need to be signed out. \nDrop off and pick up will both take place at the street level entrance on 3rd Ave. \nCentral Learns is also looking for volunteers: if you are interested in volunteering\, please email rebecca@cbcah.org. DESCRIPTION:This August (and 9/1)\, we’ll be taking our worship back outdoors to the Atlantic Highlands Harbor Gazebo (right at the end of 1st Ave\, on Simon Lake Dr.)! Why not take advantage of this beautiful town\, our beautiful harbor\, and a beautiful summer?! \nWe’ll do it every Sunday in August (except for the 11th)\, as well as September 1st. We’ll have a kids class and nursery\, as well as free bagels afterwards. These services are excellent opportunities for people who might want to come worship with us\, but who might not be ready to come to a church building. \nThis summer\, we’re going to be asking the question\, “What Made Jesus Mad?” He didn’t get mad very often\, but when he did\, it was always because people were being kept from God. We can’t wait to talk about it together. \nBring sunglasses\, water\, and some friends! \nThe services are weather permitting\, and will move back to Central in case of rain. This year\, we’re planning on putting together some better shade options as well!

DESCRIPTION:For most people\, the book of Revelation is the one writing in the New Testament that people simply avoid…and with good cause! It’s weird\, scary\, completely different – and usually – woefully misread and misunderstood. But it is AMAZING\, and has an amazingly pressing word to speak to us\, the church\, today. \n  \nSo starting Wednesday March 19 in our 5 week class called “Revealing Revelation”\, we’re going to open it up\, unpack it\, and help you read it\, so that we can attempt to hear what the Spirit might be saying to us through it. DESCRIPTION:This year\, we’ll be hosting a super-fun Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt! Kids will get flashlights and go on an egg hunt in the dark\, searching for eggs of different colors and designs. It’s a really fun time. Once your child completes the egg hunt\, there’ll be crafts\, treats\, and more. \nNew egg hunts begin every 10-15 minutes (as soon as we can reset the room). DESCRIPTION:Last year – after being here at the corner of 3rd and E. Highland Ave in Atlantic Highlands for over 100 years – we threw our first block party…and we think it’s time to do it again! So on Sunday May 18th\, we’re going to host another one! It’ll start at 3PM and go until around 6PM. DESCRIPTION:This August (and Sept. 7)\, we’ll be taking our worship back outdoors to the Atlantic Highlands Harbor Gazebo (right at the end of 1st Ave\, on Simon Lake Dr.)! Why not take advantage of this beautiful town\, our beautiful harbor\, and a beautiful summer?! \nWe’ll do it every Sunday in August (except for the 10th – see below)\, as well as September 7th. We’ll have a kids class and nursery\, as well as free bagels afterwards. These services are excellent opportunities for people who might want to come worship with us\, but who might not be ready to come to a church building. \nThis summer\, we invite you to Come & See Jesus with us! \nBring sunglasses\, water\, and some friends! All are welcome – even dogs! \nThe services are weather permitting\, and will move back to Central in case of rain. This year\, we’re planning on putting together some better shade options as well! \nOn August 10th\, we are unable to worship at the gazebo because there is a town festival – so instead\, we’ll be doing a joint worship service with St. Paul Baptist (at St. Paul)!  It’ll be at 10AM indoors\, with a BBQ truck and more afterwards in their parking lot – right in the center of town.
