What Made Jesus Mad?

Our anger tends to reveal what matters most to us, what we care about deeply. The same is true of Jesus. So the question is, What Made Jesus Mad? A house of worship filled with business. Hypocrisy. Hard hearts. When people are made to feel ‘less-than’. Death itself. What do they all have in common? Hint: it has to do with people being kept from God. It drove him mad, but it also fueled his fire. The truth is, he didn’t seem to get mad all that much – so when he did, it gives us real insight into what Jesus most deeply cared about: people. So that is what we’re going to hear about and reflect on as we gather for our outdoor Harbor Gazebo services and our new series, ‘What Made Jesus Mad?’
