On Wednesday, November 23, the AACC (Area Association of Community Churches) is putting on a community worship service to give thanks to God. The service will be at 7:00PM (NOT 7:30PM!) at Calvary Chapel of Monmouth County (810 Hwy 36 in Leonardo - next to the Wawa). Matt will be preaching at the service this year. NOTE: THIS SERVICE IS NOT AT CENTRAL!
Immediately after the Atlantic Highlands Christmas Tree Lighting on December 3 (at 4PM), we're going to open our doors and invite the town in for hot cocoa, cookies, games, and more at our inaugural "Light It Up" After Party! So we want to encourage you to go to the town tree lighting, and then bring some folks back to Central for a fun time!
This year, we will be participating in Christmas Connect: a program that is run by Love Thy Neighbor, which allows churches like us to "adopt" local families who cannot provide Christmas gifts for their kids. We'll get a list of their names, ages, sizes, and gift ideas, and then together, we'll shop, wrap, and deliver gifts for them. It's a great way to love our neighbors this Christmas season. Join us on Sunday, December 18 for a very special Sunday. We'll have a family worship service, complete with Kids performance, special songs, and a message that is good for all ages - and afterwards, we're going to have a Christmas brunch/party (including a very special guest....). We don't want you to miss it! 9:30 on the 18th, with the Christmas brunch/party afterwards. We'd love for you to join us. All are welcome, always.
Join us this Christmas Eve for our Christmas Eve (candlelight) worship service. It'll be at 5:00PM this year, a little earlier than usual to give you a chance to go and spend Christmas Eve with family and friends. This is going to be a great service, so please invite and bring someone with you! Childcare / classes will be provided through 3rd grade, if you choose. Kids are always welcomed in the service as well.

For many people, Christmas Day is a day filled with unwrapping gifts, running around from house to house, big family meals, and so on. But as we know, for others, it can be a day of loneliness.
