Membership

Membership at a church is really a way of planting a flag and saying, here is where I participate in the community and mission of Jesus Christ.

It’s not a lot like membership in other organizations where you get a bunch of “member benefits”.  In the church, membership is more of a calling and a responsibility towards being part of a particular body of Christ, in a particular place, with a particular people.
