Sometimes we get to a place in life that simply don’t want to be, or we become like someone who we don’t even like – and we ask ourselves, why? How did we get to be where we are, who we are, like we are? Or as Jesus might put it: what kind of tree are you becoming? When we take Jesus seriously, we learn to value self-reflection, measured by Jesus’ example.
