Central Learns is excited to offer a space for K-12 academic tutoring, skill reinforcement, enrichment, homework help, accelerated learning opportunities, and much more. Staffed by a group of background checked volunteers with diverse backgrounds and experiences – many of whom are former educators, Central Learns is a place where every student can be heard, met, and encouraged on their academic journey. This year, we'll be hosting a super-fun Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt! Kids will get flashlights and go on an egg hunt in the dark, searching for eggs of different colors and designs. It's a really fun time. Once your child completes the egg hunt, there'll be crafts, treats, and more. New egg hunts begin every 10-15 minutes (as soon as we can reset the room). Come on Friday, April 3 at 7PM for a very special Good Friday worship service. We’ll remember the light that came into the world in Jesus, and the world’s attempt to put that light out as we put him to death on the cross. We’ll sing together, hear scripture read, share communion, and reflect on the significance of Jesus’ death. We’d love for you to be there.
Each year on Easter Sunday (for 94 years running!), the churches in this area have gathered to do a sunrise service - and this year will be no different. Join us at the harbor gazebo at 6:30AM for the AACC Easter Sunrise Service. Make sure to dress warm and bring a blanket - it tends to get cold out there!
Join us on Easter morning (Sunday April 3) at 9:30 for our Easter worship service as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, and the life that he holds out and offers to each of us. This will be an excellent service to invite family, friends, and neighbors to! Full childcare through 5th grade.
