When Jesus warns us about being like “rocky” soil – it’s pretty obvious who he has in mind: Peter. Peter’s faith might have started out like a quick burst in shallow soil, but it ended up being deep, resilient, and fruitful. How did he get there? What experiences did he have where ‘soil’ got added to him for a deeper faith? We can learn so much from him.
